We created The Cozy House as a warm, welcoming place where guests can slow down, feel comfortable, and truly feel at home — whether they’re staying for a weekend or a longer visit. It’s a cozy, pet-friendly accommodation in Novi Sad, designed for travelers who value comfort, calm surroundings, and an authentic local experience.

Who We Are

My name is Milica, and together with my husband Dejan, I’m happy to welcome you to our cozy, pet-friendly home in Novi Sad. I’m a wife and a proud mother of two boys. Dejan is a musician, while I am an agricultural engineer by education, although I’ve spent many years working in customer support — a role that naturally shaped my love for people, communication, and hospitality.

Our younger son is passionate about hockey, and watching him play is one of our greatest joys. Our older son is currently studying IT in high school. As a family, we value creativity, dedication, and openness — values we try to share with every guest who stays with us.

I also have a deep love for nature, plants, and animals, and spending time outdoors is a big part of my everyday life. That’s why creating a calm, green, and pet-friendly stay in Novi Sad felt completely natural.

I was born and raised in Novi Sad, a beautiful, welcoming, and culturally diverse city. It’s a place that offers something for everyone — peaceful parks, riverside walks along the Danube, charming cafés, rich history, and lively nightlife.

One of the things our guests appreciate most is that The Cozy House is located in a quiet residential street, yet only a 15-minute walk from the city center. Many of Novi Sad’s main attractions, including parks, the Danube promenade, cafés, and cultural landmarks, are within easy walking distance.

This makes The Cozy House an ideal choice for travelers looking for a quiet place to stay near the center of Novi Sad.

The Story Behind the House

The house itself was built in 1936 and still carries the authentic charm of old Novi Sad. In 2020, we purchased the part of the house that now serves as the guest accommodation. This space is especially meaningful to us, as Dejan was born in this very part of the house. Bringing it back to life was both emotional and deeply rewarding.

We renovated the apartment with love and care, focusing on comfort while preserving its vintage style and timeless character. Our goal was never to make it perfect, but to make it feel real, warm, and inviting — a place where guests can relax and feel at ease.

We continue to improve The Cozy House step by step, always guided by the same idea: honoring the past while offering the comfort modern travelers need.

A Cozy, Pet-Friendly Stay with Privacy

The backyard is the only area shared with us, offering a peaceful green space while still allowing guests full privacy in their apartment. It’s a lovely spot for a quiet morning coffee, a relaxed evening, or a calm moment with your pet after a day of exploring the city.
